Who We Are

A College That Puts Girls First

Founded in 2002 under the aegis of the Crescent Association, Crescent Composite Pre-University College for Girls was established with a singular purpose: to provide high-quality pre-university education to young women in a safe, value-driven, all-women environment.

Located on Mosque Road in the heart of Basavanagudi, Bangalore, the college is affiliated with the Karnataka Pre-University Board and offers Science (PCMB), Commerce, and Arts & Humanities streams.

Over two decades, we have grown into one of Bangalore's most trusted girls' colleges — producing over 5,000 alumnae who have gone on to careers in medicine, engineering, law, civil services, education, and business. Our 95% board pass rate reflects the dedication of our faculty and the hard work of our students.

We believe that when a girl receives a strong education grounded in values, she doesn't just build a career — she builds a family, a community, and a better future for all.

Our Purpose

Mission, Vision & Values

🎯
Our Mission
To provide accessible, rigorous, and value-based pre-university education to girls — equipping them with the academic foundation, moral character, and personal confidence to succeed in higher education and public life.
🌟
Our Vision
To be the most trusted women's pre-university institution in Karnataka — where every girl, regardless of her background, receives an education that honours her intellect, her faith, and her potential.
⚖️
Our Values
Knowledge and learning as a sacred duty. Integrity in all conduct. Respect for every individual. Service to community. Excellence without compromise. And the belief that education is the most powerful gift we can give a girl.
What Defines Us

The Four Pillars of a Crescent Education

Every decision we make — from curriculum design to campus culture — is guided by four foundational commitments to our students.

📖
Academic Rigour
Board-aligned curriculum delivered by experienced, subject-specialist teachers. Regular assessments, doubt-clearing sessions, and structured exam preparation ensure every student is ready for board exams and competitive entrance tests like NEET and JEE.
🕌
Islamic Values & Character
Education at Crescent is not merely academic — it is holistic. We cultivate in our students the values of truthfulness, compassion, perseverance, and service. A dedicated prayer hall ensures spiritual practice is never disrupted by academic life.
🔒
Safe, Women-Only Environment
Our 100% women-only campus is designed to give students — and their families — complete peace of mind. With 24/7 security, CCTV, and a campus culture built on mutual respect, girls are free to focus entirely on learning and growing.
💛
Student Support & Inclusion
We believe financial circumstances should never limit a girl's education. Merit and need-based scholarships, fee concessions, academic counselling, and a caring faculty ensure that every student who walks through our doors is supported to succeed.
