Eligibility Criteria

We welcome applications from girls of all backgrounds. We especially encourage students from the Muslim community and economically weaker sections to apply.

📋 General Requirements
  • Female students only (all communities welcome)
  • Passed 10th / SSLC from any recognised board (CBSE, ICSE, State Board)
  • Minimum 35% aggregate marks in 10th examination
  • Valid Transfer Certificate (TC) from previous school
  • Aadhar Card / valid government identity proof
🔬 Stream-Specific Criteria
  • Science (PCMB): Minimum 50% in Science & Mathematics in 10th
  • Commerce: Minimum 40% aggregate; Maths background preferred
  • Arts / Humanities: Minimum 35% aggregate; no subject restriction
  • SC / ST / OBC candidates: relaxation as per Karnataka government norms
  • Students from other state boards require a Migration Certificate

Frequently Asked

Is the medium of instruction English or Kannada?

The primary medium of instruction is English for all streams. A second language (Urdu or Kannada) is offered as required by the Karnataka PUC Board curriculum.
Are scholarships available? How do I apply?

Yes. We offer merit-based scholarships (for high scorers in 10th) and need-based fee concessions. Students may also apply under government schemes (minority scholarship, SC/ST scholarship). Scholarship forms are available from 1 June 2026 and can be submitted alongside the admission form.
Can I change my stream after admission?

Stream changes are possible within the first two weeks of classes, subject to seat availability and counsellor approval. After two weeks, changes are generally not permitted as per Karnataka PUC Board guidelines.
What are the college timings?

College timings will be shared during orientation. The admissions office is open Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Is there a hostel or transport facility?

The college is a day college and does not have an on-campus hostel. However, we can advise families on nearby accommodation options. The college is conveniently located on Mosque Road, Basavanagudi, with good public transport connectivity.
How do CBSE / ICSE students apply?

Students from CBSE, ICSE, or other state boards are welcome. In addition to the standard documents, they must submit a Migration Certificate issued by their previous board. Our admissions team will guide you through the process.
